Brechfa is situated in a very peaceful and rural area of Wales and you will be cycling through a beautiful, picturesque forest environment.
With a range of trails for all abilities, this is a fantastic place for all the family to enjoy the thrills of mountain biking.
From the very end of the M4, take the A483 through Ammanford and on to Llandeilo. Drive through the town and turn left at the roundabout on to the A40 towards Carmarthen. About 10 miles along the A40 you will see a right turn signposted for Brechfa along the B4310. When you reach the village of Brechfa, continue on for about 3 miles until you see the big green Forestry sign for Brechfa forest. This is the car park for the Raven and Derwen trails. If you intend to ride the Gorlech trail then you need to carry on for another couple of miles to the next Forestry Commission car park. If approaching from the North, you need to use the A40 via Llandovery and then turn right towards Carmarthen just before entering Llandeilo.
