Opened in 2013, Y Ffowndri is a great addition to the Coed-y-Brenin MTB experience. It is a skills park, so you can expect a range of trails and features to hone your mountain biking techniques and gain confidence before taking on one of the many longer routes here.

There are easy, intermediate and advanced routes through the park so something for all riders. The technical rock lines in the middle are particularly good fun and the ideal introduction to some of the challenges you'll find on the main Coed-y-Brenin trails.

There is also a large pumptrack stacked full of berms, rollers, hip jumps and doubles. Its tricky to ride well but after a few laps you'll soon get the hang of it.

Y Ffowndri can be found just up the hill from the car park next to the Go Ape entrance.
