Leave the M4 motorway at junction 28 and follow signs for Risca. Don't turn off the main road into Risca but continue straight ahead with Risca on your right hand side. You will see brown tourist signs for "Forest Drive". Follow these into Cwmcarn village where you will see a left turn with a Forestry Commission sign welcoming you to Cwmcarn. Turn down this road and continue straight ahead to the car parks.
