Antur Stiniog

Opened in 2012, this downhill and freeride style trail centre has already proven super popular with mountain bikers from far and wide. There are a choice of downhill trails for a range of riders who are conifident on quite steep terrain. Even the blue "Drafft" trail is fast and furious at times so this venue is not recommended for complete beginners. However, there is a cross-country trail in development which will open up the riding to all abilities, including those who like their mountain biking a bit more relaxing.

The downhill trails are all serviced by an excellent uplift system with a quick and comfortable ride to the top and not much waiting around. It is strongly advised to book in advance as there are limited spaces available and this trail centre is only going to get more popular. The website has an excellent online booking system so get some mates together and reserve your places.

There is more to come at Antur Stiniog in the near future including a jump park, pump track, cross country loop and new visitor centre... exciting times for mountain biking in North Wales. Also, don't forget Coed-y-Brenin is just down the road, which makes Antur Stiniog a great option to include in a full weekend of mountain biking.
