The local riders have built a great downhill trail here which is fast and rough but rideable by most mountain bikers. There are plenty of the features you would expect such as big berms, rock gardens, rooty sections and some good sized jumps. The more challenging features all have a "chicken run" so the entire trail is rideable for those who prefer to keep their tyres on the ground.

There are several trails for pushing back up and because the track is not too long it is feasible to fit quite a few runs into your day here.

Its not only the downhill track at Kilvey Hill, but there are many other options for mountain biking. The hill is full of singletracks and other natural features if you want to explore and do a bit of freeriding.

Considering its proximity to the centre of Swansea, the trails here have a very natural feel with the woodland surroundings and the steep terrain.
