Caersws

Caersws is a cracking downhill competition venue in mid Wales between Rhayader to the South and Dolgellau to the North. There is a main downhill track and several fields for pit teams, camping and spectator parking. The venue is very easy to reach from the main A470 which makes it a great venue to attract many spectators to both the British Downhill and Welsh Downhill events.

How to find Caersws

From England: Leave the M6 at junction 10a, then join the M54 motorway. Continue forward onto the A5 then pick up the signs for Welshpool. Just before Welshpool there is a traffic black spot! You will see a Little Chef on your left before you hit the bridge. Then Newtown and then head towards Machynlleth and Caersws, turning right on the A470 just before the railway crossing. Please be careful of oncoming traffic over the bridge into Caersws. The race venue will be well signposted for the event and is 1.5 miles outside of Caersws just before the bridge.

From Wales: Take the A470 from Rhayader if approaching from the South or Machynlleth/Dolgellau from the North. Look out for signs for Caersws and on entering the village, the race venue will be well signposted
